We have a good reputation for our custom builds and can count many celebrities amongst our satisfied customers, offering such makes as Dedaccaci,Cinelli,Nicolai,Kinesis,Salsa,Surley ,DMR and Forme. The customer can specifiy exactly how they want their dream bike built, we will listen and offer honest advice. We will not slate bikes and components that we do not sell, but will not stock products that, in our experience, do not work.
Who’s the boss ?
Tim Grainger, the founder, started mountain biking in 1987 after a motor cycle accident left him paralysed in one arm and unable to continue competing in moto cross. Tim immediately embraced the whole mountain bike ‘thing’, and was soon racing in events all around the country on his bike which he modified with all controls on one side.
Today Tim has become a well know figure on the race scene, winning 25% of all races in the last five years.
As well as the boss, the Stourport race team has scored considerable success over the years with many race and series wins.
Can you try before you buy?
A good range of demo bikes are available and a test rides on any bike is possible as we have ample free parking to accomodate our customers.
Do we offer payment plans?
Our payment plans are legendary with up to 3 years 0% finance available, subjest to status.
Do we do repairs?
We carry out repairs and servicing on all makes, models and types of bike. We offer a specialist wheel building service as well as suspension fork rebuilds. All repairs are ready within one day of receiving the bike, unless specialist components are required.

History
Stourport Specialist Cycles was established in 1995, in an old hairdresser’s studio, selling mainly high end mountain bikes and accessories. The shop soon expanded into the premises next door, as word spread of our outstanding services and knowledge. The high end mountain bike market is still the bulk of our market today, although we do stock a good range B.M.X., hybrid, road bikes and parts.
